Plodding along

I’m finally getting my blog done after starting nearly a year ago when I was pregnant with Bram. Still lots of work left to do though, most of the links don’t work yet.

Getting Closer

Did some more work today. Forgot that when you link to another person’s page, their stats say where the referrer came from, so you found my page before it’s ready:-)

Bram is now doing real pointing with his finger. It’s so cute, he points at everything. Too bad he’s got Roseola, argh, but he’s almost over it.

Off to Freddy town

We’re heading to Fredericton for the weekend. The kids are excited about seeing Nana and Grandad. Oh yeah, Bram crawled all the way up stairs yesterday.

Think Carol is right

I think if I wait until I am all done before “opening” to the public, it will be next year:-) So consider this open and a constant work in progress. Which means, a bunch of the links don’t work:-)

We had a good time in F’ton this past weekend. We celebrated Grandad’s birthday on Saturday and on Sunday we went to fellowship and saw our friends that we hadn’t seen since we moved. I did some shopping on Saturday at winners. I found some amazing books for Alec that were so cheap. It’s my favorite spot for educational books at ridiculous prices.

Dino Crazy

Alec is dinosaur crazy. I don’t mean he likes triceratops, t-rex, etc. He likes andrewsarchus, a prehistoric mammal that is related to whales and saurolophus which lived in the cretacious period and is a herbivore, bipedal and quadripedal (who knew). It’s a constant chatter all day long.
“Mommy, why did the mammals get bigger after the dinosaurs died out?”
“Can you look up homo ergastor on the computer?”
“Oviraptor’s name should be changed because they found out that they didn’t really steal eggs after all.”
So, on the hopes that we will find another kid as dino crazy as he is, we have formed a junior paleontology club here in Miramichi. Our first meeting is on Saturday, so it should be interesting to see what happens.

We took Bram shoe shopping today. The lady asked if he was walking and I said no, he was cruising around furniture though. She said, these canvas shoes are for non-walkers, they go to a size 2. Size 2! He was that at birth. She couldn’t believe he had to wear a size 5. Well, when she saw the size 13 shoes I bought for Kevin she understood:-)
