Yesterday was Mother’s Day. A couple of weeks ago, Alec had said that we couldn’t celebrate Mother’s Day this year because Daddy wouldn’t be here to make pancakes. Every year, Kevin used to get up with the kids and cook pancakes and let me sleep in. I told Alec, that Mother’s Day was about celebrating Mother’s everywhere and that we would make new traditions for us. We decided to make pancakes for supper the night before. So, every supper the night before Mother’s Day we will make pancakes. Mother’s Day morning Alec gave me a card he made for me and we we went for a walk. So, we will forge new traditions for our family, it’s about doing things together:)
