Biking & stuff
I went for a bike ride last night with a friend. It was really nice and a great workout. My bike is falling apart though. I need to replace the wheel, it makes an awful sound while biking. The bearings are probably shot.
Then I worked until late on a new website I’m working on. Currently, Kevin has the kids on Tues. Wed. and Thurs. evenings. Once he has his own place, he’ll start taking them on some weekends too. Tonight, I am going out with a friend. It should be fun.
I’m going to be doing a workshop in Saint John on Fertility Awareness, May 29th. If anyone is interested in taking it, send me an email as registration is underway.
And upcoming, sponsored by the Midwives Association of New Brunswick
International Midwifery Day on May 22 in Fredericton. Bram’s practically the poster child for it here:) How many 11 lb 2 oz babies are born at home with a midwife on International Midwifery Day:)
This is a day for women and their families to explore choices in birth and look at options to the maternity care crisis that is a reality across Canada. It is also a day to find out more about what midwifery care can offer you in the hospital, birth centres and at home, and how you can support the campaign for midwifery in New Brunswick.
We’ll be celebrating International Midwifery Day with an informal gathering, sharing information, experiences and light snacks. Join us May 22, from 12:30 to 4:00 pm at Lifesong Yoga and Wellness Centre at 73 York St in Fredericton. Babies and children of all ages are welcome.
