I give up, the van wins. Today on the way to fellowship, some pulley thing related to the power steering broke and fell off and the belt that is also related to the power steering pump fell off as well, meaning I had about 30 more min. of driving before the battery would die. Fortunately, I knew I’d be ok to get home. However after fellowship, I get Alec in the van, get ready to shut the sliding door and as I close it, it fell off the van. I had to call Kevin and he had to come and fix it, although now it’s closed, I can’t open and close it. I have to get the kids in through the front. Now, this also happened last year around this time as well. So, in a 2 day span, the power steering pump and door have broken just as they did last year. I’m scared to say that last year this time we had to put a new transmission in the van. Either way, I’m now off the road, can’t drive the van until the power steering pump is fixed. Which makes it very complicated with the kids. Kevin isn’t on a bus route and he doesn’t have a vehicle, so we’re not exactly sure how we’re going to manage the switch overs. So, now I’m house bound except for my bike. But I think it’s probably for the best anyway as I have a ton of work to do anyway.
