Thanksgiving
Every year I like to think about the things I am thankful for. Last year on my blog, I posted my usual rhetoric. This year’s list includes many of those as well but also some new items.
I am thankful for;
my two wonderful sons
my sister, father, brother and family
my ex-inlaws (hate that term for them, they’re so much more than that)
that even though Kevin and I are separated, the kids have a wonderful, involved father
thankful for being strong in body (most of the time;)), mind and spirit
for old friends
for the many, many new friends I made this year (umm, yes many of them male;))
for my new van
for rediscovering what was important to me
for my personal growth
I’m thankful for my new life. It’s rich with friends and family.
I’m thankful that I’m living my life mindfully.
I am thankful for being me.
“In everyone’s life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.” Albert Schweitzer
“For each new morning with its light,
For rest and shelter of the night,
For health and food, for love and friends,
For everything Thy goodness sends.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson
