I’m not being very responsible about blogging lately. My interview on Friday went well, but they gave everyone homework. It’s for a small publishing company and I had to do a cover design proposal for a book. I’m quite pleased with how it turned out. It’s what I’ve been doing nearly all my waking hours other than the kids over the last several days except for basketball on saturday;) The cover design is going to be the significant factor for the selection process, so after tomorrow at 5 pm, the deadline, it will be a matter of waiting.

I’ve heard so many interesting things on CBC radio lately but my brain can’t seem to trap the information. And Bush in Canada, well….. no comment;)

Alec had swimming lessons tonight and is really enjoying it. He can do front and back floats and even swim a bit now:)

I noticed CBC did a vote for the greatest Canadian. The top 10 list included some expected names but also had some names I don’t think should be there. As in Don Cherry was number 3, ugh. I did notice however that there wasn’t a single woman in the bunch. I heard that two women made the top 50, that is still pathetic and just shows how history is lopsided. If someone places value of Don Cherry over Laura Secord, Harriet Tubman, Nellie McClung, Lucie Maud Montgomery, Emily Carr and the list goes on, then their priorities are messed up, just my not so humble opinion;)
