This morning the kids and I went to fellowship. It was a great service as it was the starting process of the fellowship becoming a welcoming congregation. This means an official (as it always has been unofficially) that everyone regardless of sexual orientation or gender identification is openly accepted and cherished.. They read this great book for the kids about many different kinds of families, ie. multicultural families, single parent families, blended families, two mom or two dad families, etc.

Then this afternoon on the way to taking the kids to Kevin, the van decided to break down. The engine way overheated. It had been acting funny the last couple of days but today it went kaput. We managed to get it to a garage, and tomorrow I will find out what is wrong. Fortunately, some of it should be covered by the warranty.

I watched the Chronicles of Riddick last night. It wasn’t a bad movie. I have to say that I’m not generally attracted to muscle bound bad boys, but there is something about Van Diesel that is magnetic. He seems to be very charismatic. I’m looking forward to seeing “The Pacifier” with him in it. It looks something that will be light hearted and a good way to just kick back and relax.
