I’ve got a sinus infection. It seems like I’ve been sick all winter. I’d have to say that this year the kids and I have been more sick than we ever have. I know the combination of Bram in daycare, Alec in school and myself in the work force has really done a number on our immune systems. We trade viruses back and forth so no one has time to recuperate. I ended up having to get antibiotics for this infection, something I’m generally loathe to do. They’ve worked though, the sinus pressure is less, but I have this terrible hacking cough that just doesn’t want to go away. I’m home from work today, trying to get some rest and not drive my co-workers crazy from listening to me cough all day.

However, the up side, I’ve been giving it some thought of some of the things I want to do this summer. Last summer was the white water canoeing. This summer, kayaking and climbing mt. katahdin is on my list. I’m also going to take Alec camping. While I’d love to take Bram, I just don’t think I’m up for just myself and the two boys camping yet. Alec and I will have a lot of fun though.
