Well Fri. 13th hit my house on the 14th. Sat. morning, both my washing machine and dryer croaked. What are the odds of that? The washing machine has been having problems for a long time and that wasn’t unexpected but the dryer was. I was sure it was because of the breaker when they both went within an hour of each other, but nope, they just got tired and decided enough was enough, sigh.

The movie I saw was Crash. That’s an amazing thought provoking story. It’s not an easy movie to explain and it leaves you assessing how easily people fall into patterns and roles with regards to stereotypes and racism. They did an amazing job of showing the characters going through introspection without actually having to explain it or have them say much. I highly recommend watching it.
