Yesterday after getting home from work (yes I spent the whole beautiful sat. at work) I received a phone call from my uncle that they were doing the burial for another uncle of mine today. I wasn’t happy at the last minute notice but wasn’t overly surprised either. They are burying him where my Mom, Grampy and Grammy are buried and they plan on holding a small ceremony for everyone. I’m feeling a little nervous about seeing Mom’s grave as I haven’t been there in 4 years, it’s been 5 years since she died. Partly because of the location, it’s a couple of hours from here in the middle of nowhere, a country cemetary. My aunt from Detroit is down visiting as well and I haven’t seen her since my Mom died. So many things happened when Mom died, lots of unpleasant family stuff, that getting together with my extended family isn’t a bed of roses. I go so that I can take my Uncle that I am responsible for that lives in a nursing home and for the ceremony, but that’s about it. Either way, I know it’s going to be a difficult day:(
