With the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, I wanted to mention a book that I highly recommend for those that live in Hurricane risk areas. It’s published by Goose Lane Editions and is called Hurricanes: What You Need to Know. It’s a handbook that covers in easy to read format, survival skils, how to prepare, what to do with regards to children and pets. It pretty much covers it all. Now I do have a bias for this book as it’s one of the cover and interior designs I’m most proud of;) It also shows that publishing companies here in NB can produce some excellent work.
