Alec had his last cross country meet today. He placed 88 out of a sea of approx. 130 kids. Every week he did better and better. He was so proud of his accomplishments and he recognized how hard work and continued effort can make a difference. He crossed the finish line with a fellow classmate, both of them thrilled by their accomplishments. As Kymberly wrote about her daughter, healthy competition isn’t always where they place in the race.

His next wed. afternoon school activity is the drama club. I suspect he’ll have a whole new range of experiences and values to learn from this upcoming activity.
