Alec had his school christmas concert yesterday. He had a lot of fun in this year because he was in the drama club. They were christmas rappers wearing their black hoodies and rapping away, lol. Then today his afterschool group was singing at the Regent Mall. I’m more or less done my shopping, just some grocery items to pick up and that’s about it. I’m taking the kids to see Charlotte’s Web on the weekend, so that should be fun.

Alec told me this week that the kids have been calling him a goodie two shoes and all I have to say to that, is thank god, something is going right, lol. So far this year has been Alec’s best year yet. Challenges at times, yes, but overall, it’s been great. Last week I watched Mozart and the Whale, a movie about adults with asperger’s and while there were aspects of behaviour I recognized in Alec, it also confirmed that Alec’s asperger’s is very mild comparatively.

Four more sleeps till xmas as Bram would say. In some ways I’m just as excited as the kids are as I love watching them open their presents and discover their goodies in the morning:)
