I know, I know

I’ve been delinquent in my blog posting. Will post soon. Little things here and there happening. Biggest item in house right now is that Alec is becoming hormonal and moody = preadolescence, arghghghgh!

At the gym last week, I was shooting some hoops and some young guys were there playing half-court ball. I asked if I could join them and they said sure. At one point during the game age was brought up and I told them mine. One of the guys turned to me and said “no way, you don’t look old enough to be my mom”. Sigh, lol. I didn’t know if I should be flattered or cringe at the fact that I could have been old enough to be the mother to these guys, lol.

    Actually, I know the feeling. Sometimes (more often than not), between work and kids, there’s simply too much going on and not enough time for personal pursuits.

    Hormonal and moody? Be thankful he’s not a girl, hehe…

    As for the age bit - it’s frustrating, isn’t it? My grey hair (I’m not vain enough to hide it) makes me look about ten years older. I even had one little smart-ass call me “Grandpa” one day. And I’m still a couple of years away from 40…sigh…
