Why is it when you have a major deadline to meet, that the kids get sick. First Alec was home sick today, which isn’t too bad. I can still get work done. Now I just got a call from the preschool and Bram is sick. Sigh, there goes my work for today. Another late night tonight.

However, lest you think I’ve been all work and no play. I’ve been out getting a life again. Making new friends, playing pool and going to the movies. I took the kids to Crystal Palace and we all had a blast. We’ve also made a new friend with another single Mom that lives near us with a son the same age as Bram. And I have a new walking friend with a new mom that lives near me as well. So, the New Year’s Resolution of balance is slowly being achieved.
